My JRTX has been itching/licking himself like mad recently - he did have a spate of fleas (we live rurally and surrounded by dogs, not uncommon) but this was quickly remedied. His belly and underarms have an orange/red tinge to them and I've noticed some areas forming small scabs. He's on antihistamines as he reacts badly to flea bites and also has a starflower oil supplement with his food, I've also started bathing him in medicated shampoo for yeast infections and so on but no improvement. Any experience or is it worth a vet visit?
