Dog suddenly very lethargic

I’ve got one of my dogs acting very queer.

She loves her walks and is usually very hyper when it comes to going out. Now though, she comes to get her harness on and lays down. She will then go out for a walk but it’s not her normal happy self. She seems very lethargic in herself.

She’s eating fine, peeing fine, and she is pooping but it’s also very soft.

Obviously a vet will be contacted if she gets worse, but has anyone experienced this?

We are going on the theory at the moment, that maybe it’s too hot. It’s very muggy and the air feels heavy, but I’m not sure on this either cos it’s been hotter and she’s been fine.

My other dog is her normal self.

I'd say it was probably the heat - especially if she's eating and drinking as normal. Do keep an eye on her though.

Could be heat but could also be pain - If it continues in this mild form beyond the weekend when it cools down I’d book a vet trip

Thanks. She doesn’t appear to be in pain, but I know animals mask really well. I’ll keep an eye

I’ve been in contact with a vet today and they aren’t overly worried. We were concerned about pyometra but the vet was positive it wasn’t that.

I’ve ordered some rehydration fluids to see if that helps as she is pretty certain it’s the weather
