Adding veg to raw food - adjust raw quantities or not?

ChenDog has to lose around .5-1kg so I’ve reduced his raw food accordingly. He’s starving though and so I was going to bulk it out with some veg. Do I need to reduce his raw food to take account of the veg?

I wouldn't. He still needs the protein etc in the raw food.

Thanks - I thought that might the case but wanted to check

Also - unless you’re putting really carby veg in, vegetables aren’t very calorie dense anyway.

I was going with carrots, broccoli and green beans which I think are ok…if he’ll touch them. He’s not fond of veg but might be persuaded now that he’s more hungry.
