Ddog hates having her teeth cleaned. I know dental chews aren't very good, so just wanting to know what others have tried (that works) to help keep teeth clean. TIA

Scousedog's teeth stay cleaner now that we have switched to feeding only kibble.
He also has a couple of toys that we put kibble in that he has to work at to get them out. That helps.

Antlers, horns, fish skins, raw chicken wings, other raw bones, feet, skins etc. I've never cleaned teeth but I have fed all those and my dogs teeth have stayed very clean. My last dog only had a dental as they were removing a broken tooth and did it while she was under.

I give a raw chicken wing a week as part of a meal.

Ive been using this, recommended by my vet, for about a year now - my dogs teeth are pretty clean. I just sprinkle some on her food morning and evening and she eats no problem.

Ours has natural chews most days, plus two scoops of PlaqueOff in his food everyday.

Thanks all!
Ddog eats kibble so will look at adding some to toys. She does have antlers but none of the other foods mentioned. Off to order some PlaqueOff!

Plaque Off is basically kelp so I bought a tub of kelp for a fraction of the price.
