Found some fleas on the dog for the first time ever. So have just sprayed the house and treated the dog. Can anyone say for certain how long we go before hoovering again? I seem to be finding conflicting information on whether to wait 24 hours or two weeks.

What did you use to treat the house and dog? Some products are ineffectual. We always use Nexgard spectra and never had fleas. I would Indorex the house if we did. Monthly Nexgard stops that.

A johnsons one as we wanted to treat quicker than the delivery of indorex and was told it was just as good. Will buy some indorex for the cupboard to reapply if necessary. The dog was treated with a tablet from the vets although she is up to date with her frontline we are going to change to the tablet moving forwards.

@anxiousddhmum we had the same problem I used the same as u I waited 4 hours and then hoovered again xxx

I then hoovered everyday 3 times a day for 2 weeks and then sprayed again I've not had anything in the last 6 months I always keep a spare bottle just in case I found the Johnson's one better than the other one x

Another vote here for Nexgard. It's pricey but so worth it. I had to take them to the vets to get weighed for it the first time.

I wouldn't trust or use anything made by Johnsons.
