This appeared on my 7 year old couple days ago - defo wasn’t noticeable long before then

any ideas what it could be? I’ll be going the vet but wanted to see if anyone had similar?

it’s about 1.5cm round and fairly firm but not painful to tough. It’s not a nipple

thanks

Looks like a hot spot (have a google) and check with the vet! Hope pup is ok!

Yes it does look like a hot spot and she has been having allergies so fits but it’s not painful at all which hot spots look to be?

It looks a bit like the hystiocytoma my dog got on his face earlier this year - they're just benign tumours but definitely get it checked out as the vet said it could also be a type of skin cancer in our case.

It disappeared after a few weeks of steroid cream!

My previous dog got hotspots once or twice every year. That is nothing like one. Also, it was FAR too painful and sensitive for her to let me touch or feel it (not like a nodule, more like a big swollen weepy bit of her skin that she could not stop biting and scratching (cone of shame had to be used for about 3 weeks each time).
