New puppy

I lost my little jrt on 1 April. He was almost 17.

I have 2 other dogs, so wasn't really looking for another.

Then I saw this little one on fb in Rescue. Her eyes reminded me of him, so she arrives Friday 😁

Very sweet. JRT again? Have you named her yet?

Jrt x but not sure what with. She should be small though.

My stepson named her Pikachu 🤦‍♀️ going to use Pika for short

Oh my goodness, she's adorable and looks very comfy

That's also a surprisingly long tail, lol.

She looks a lot like my last dog who was a terrier hound. She was a very good girl and we had many many happy fun years together.

I was going to say the same. We need to see just how long that gorgeous tail is.

Oh adorable! Her tail looks just like my lurcher cross's did as a puppy. In fact I thought lurcher cross with the first picture too, maybe dad has some whippet if she's small. Beautiful.

@Riverlee they've been playing loads in the garden. Chasing each other all over.

She's worn him out and he's gone to hide for a break 😂

We've had 2 nights now with hardly any crying - so that's good.

I did forget how exhausting watching a puppy all day is. I had a nap yesterday when she did 💤

She's decided my other terrier is for fun and the staffy x is for cuddling. As soon as she's house trained, which is going well, she can sleep with him and cuddle up all night.

We've practiced recall in a secure field today and she can now sit. Very treat motivated which always helps!
