Grazed pads

Hello, im looking after my brothers dog. I have walked him and noticed hes licking his feet. When ive looked i can see its slightly grazed. Is this normal for dogs?

Mine does this regularly. Try keeping him off gravel and concrete as much as you can for a few days. If you can get any hibiscrub, clean the pad with that too.

Thank you, i thought it may be common just wanted to double check, theres no blood, it was a walk on concrete, will keep him inside for a couple days and keep eye on him
