Kong fillers for cheap

What is the cheapest thing you freeze in your dogs kong?

I used to buy primula until it doubled in price.

Peanut butter he's gone off.

We tried meat paste it's 40p a jar and that's 2 kings but it's so so gross!!

He's gluten free but he loves a frozen kong when I go to work

Natural yogurt if he is ok with dairy?

We blend yoghurt, banana and peanut butter and use that.

It's the banana that affects our DDog. It's about the only thing we can't give her.

Cooked plain rice is out go to he loves it with a few bits of chicken hidden in it or some yoghurt.

Their normal food (wet) is good as it's part of their meal. Natural yoghurt, fruit and veg - my dog loves strawberries, blueberries, carrot, pepper, cucumber. You can just soak their normal dry and then freeze or even chill it. I don't buy anything specific.

Cottage cheese then pop it in the freezer for a bit

Have you tried Chubb rolls, gross (to me) but dog loves it for a change.

Wet food or biscuits mixed with water.

Cream cheese
Plain yoghurt (then frozen)
Cheapy peanut butter
Primula (but only from home bargains when it's down to 49p)

Thanks everyone. I always freeze the kings. What was so easy about primula was squeezing it straight into the kong! Everything else is messy!! We have 4 long so do them in one go and straight in the freezer for the week.

Does anything else come in a handy tube?? 🤣

Those cheap sandwich spreads, 40p for a small jar, last a large Kong 3x over.

Interested in all these fillings! Do your dogs eat the filling while still frozen? Just imagining primula spread all over my carpet…

No frozen is mess free he loves it and no spillage.
