as it says really, 10 year old Westie has glaucoma in both eyes and it’s not responding to medication. The vet says the only option is to remove his eyes ☹️. He’s already blind bless his heart so it wouldn’t change anything from that point and the vet thinks it would be a relief for him and could give him a good quality of life for what remains. Of course from a human perspective it’s a hideous thing to do to the poor chap. Honestly, would you put him through it? He is of course very much loved and we don’t want to put him through more than necessary.
