Dog Collar for Swimming

Can anyone recommend a good dog collar that is comfortable and lightweight in hot weather and suitable for lots of swimming? Thanks

Look for ones made of biothane.

Mine have leather collars which survive mud, rivers and the sea. But biothane is very durable.

If your dog is swimming in rivers that have overhanging branches and bushes, the best thing is to remove the collar.
I have had a dog get hooked up and require rescuing and have also witnessed a young Springer get caught on branches and become extremely agitated and exhausted trying to get free.

Best to let them swim “naked” 🙂
