I have a petite jack russell, usually she’s a softie who loves cuddles & being petted and loves nothing more than being on my lap however she’s just been in season where she became incredibly needy (more than usual) but now she doesn’t want to be touched. If I go anywhere near her she growls and barks, as well as everyone else in the house. Can this be normal behaviour? She also howls when I leave the house.
I have two kids, they are dog savvy but they are upset they she isn’t her usual self. They are giving her plenty of space.
shes never had puppies and we have booked her in to be spayed for September!
