6 weeks without her

I still can't get my head round it. I loved the old girl so much, and I miss her. Can't quite believe she's gone tbh.

Bloody hurts.

Oh my lovely, I'm so sorry for your loss.

We lost our beloved fat , grumpy tabby after 20 years and it was awful. I kept bursting into tears. Hated seeing other cats as I was jealous that others' still had their cats.

I honestly can't offer much advice or support, just empathy.

It's a trite thing to say but time really does heal and you will get to a point where you'll be able to look back on your dog's life affectionately. It will take time but you will get there.

For now, maybe focus on how much love your lovely dog received from you and your family during his stay with you.

She was clearly much loved.

I know just how you feel. 3 weeks ago today our boy was with us but I knew he was going. Stayed on the sofa with him all night for the second night running and he was pts the next day.

The hole he has left behind is unmeasurable.

We're all holding out for the pain to fade and the wonderful memories to come front and centre instead of this grief.
