Puppy book recommendations

I’m hoping for a puppy in the next year and would like to be prepared, but I’m overwhelmed by the number of books and advice available. If you could recommend just one book, what would it be? Thanks!

Easy Peasy Puppy Squeazy, best book I read

Easy Peasy was a great book. My dog is 2 now and I'm about to add another pup to the mix!

The Happy Puppy by Pippa Mattinson. I referred to it regularly for the first year.

The Squeezy book was OK but I found the narrative style time-consuming, though some of it was excellent advice.
