What mix is my dog ( photo included)

Adopted our puppy 10 months ago. Apparently mother was a springer but no one knows what the father was. She's great so this is just for fun .

DNA testing is pretty reliable if your dog is a mix of established UK breeds. Doesn’t work for ‘Rommies’ etc. It’s just a cheek swab.

We used wisdompanel.com to see what breeds our two rescue dogs were. The process was simple, register online, they send you a kit, rub cotton swab on your dogs gum and send it back to them. It cost £98 and we got the results by email in a couple of weeks. When we got the results we could see where their features and traits had come from and we thought it was probably pretty accurate.

Looks like a springer/Lab cross.

I'm resurrecting this thread as we decided to go ahead and do the DNA test out of interest. Fascinating results... NO SPRINGER!!!! but 33% Small Munsterlander which apparently originated as a cross between German Longhaired Pointers and spaniels!
The other dominant breeds are foxhound and harrier.
looking at the images for this breed I can definitely see a resemblance, and can also see how the mother could have been mistaken for a springer. What do you all think?

Small Munsters do indeed tend to look like springers with somewhat pointerish eyes. Plus Harrier, she is an interesting mix of unusual breeds.

Seeing it’s a year on since the first post, I think we need some up to date photos of your hound…
