Adopted our puppy 10 months ago. Apparently mother was a springer but no one knows what the father was. She's great so this is just for fun .

She's also very beautiful

Just wanted to thank everyone who has posted dog pics. I am in my element with these - I have an especial fancy for white dogs with black heads. I've only ever seen this particularly pleasing combination in Jack Russells before and it's a joy to see it in other breeds.

@Emotionalsupportviper you need to check out Stabyhoun , could be your dream dog.

Her head is 100% Labrador with Springer length ears. She also has the short otter tail of a Labrador. I think if she was pointer the tail would be longer and thinner, springer tails, when not docked tend to curl.
Her eyes are Labrador brown.
Does she have a bit of a swirlwave to her coat along her back? This is classic lab.
She is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm really glad I asked this. It's great to hear doggy people give their opinions, it lovely to see all the love for my very special dog and it's fantastic to see all these gorgeous gun dogs

Lab crosses do tend to come up quite solid colours, maybe a touch on the toes or flash on the breast.
Pointer crosses come up all the colours of pointers.

I'd just like to point out that they are both prats who steal chocolate cake and make me know the vet far too well.

I'm going to say lab. I have a black lab and the features are so similar

Oh my word I love her! She looks like she has a perfect working black lab head that's been transplanted onto another body. What a gorgeous dog! (And therefore my vote is for dad being a lab)

She gorgeous. We’ve just had a dna test by wisdom panel to find out what our rescue pup is. It was a simple cheek swab which we posted back and about a 3 week wait for results online. I think there’s an offer on atm - around £60.
(He’s a poodle x West Highland terrier, which we would never have guessed!)

@Warmworm that's interesting..our other dog is a poodle x wheaten terrier and she's also gorgeous. I'd love to see a photo of your dog

I was going to say they have a working Labrador face sewn onto a springer’s body but after googling a German short haired pointer as suggested above, I think this may be the one as they pictures show a solid coloured face with a more mottled body. I’m still adding a picture of my gorgeous Labrador though!
