I have a double coated VERY fluffy medium (25kg) dog (A Eurasier)
Some of the time she wears a perfect fit harness, but sometimes (especially when it's warm) I like to walk her with her collar. The problem is, if I need to clip her back on quickly (if we are off lead and see an on lead dog in the woods etc) I struggle to find it!!!!

I don't like leather ones as I find them stiff .. I want something soft, and wide enough to find in a heap of fur!
If anyone has one they like, or can suggest a make, I'd be very grateful!
(This is her... so you can see the problem Grin)

A 2" martingale collar. I like Slouching hound for my dogs

Fluffy fur vest in rolled leather, it snags less of the fluff. More comfortable for dog.

I like Pear tannery. Get their super soft rolled leather, it's not stuff at all.

I use Blueberry Pet for my longer haired lab and EZYdog for the other. The Blueberry Pet is softer. I use the wider ones , and they are washable.

I also think a martingale might be easier, because they’re loose when not on a lead then they’d be easier to find.

My GSD has a very soft, thick leather collar. She’s got a very fluffy neck but it’s easy to find in a hurry. It was about €90 but has lasted three years so far.

I can't help, but your dog is gorgeous 😍

I like martingale collars, if for whatever reason they pull back they can’t get out of them!!

I’ve got one on one of mine, just cause there’s barely any difference between neck and head size and collars need to be quite tight, which I figure can’t be comfy.
