I pay £19 for my dog Walker - 2 dogs for an hour, for 1 dog she is £11

In this part of London I think it’s £50 per dog per day

Thanks. How much you pay a young boy (21) to walk/ dog sit your dogs? No insurance etc, just a friend’s son!

Maybe get him to sign up to the rover app, then he will be insured via them and you can book him. He can set his own fee and they just take a small cut.

I pay a young man £25 for walking two dogs, dog sitting in the day about £50 plus the walking fee. I've not done an overnight but my best guess would be a similar amount.

Last week he had my dogs for 12 hours while I was at an event and I paid a total £75. Plus a tip, plus he had access to my house if he wanted it.
However, I really like him, I trust him and he is worth it.

I'd never use anyone without insurance and first aid at an absolute minimum, sorry.

So, nothing.

I wouldn’t go near someone with no insurance.

My dog walker comes and picks my dog up 3 days a week and drops her back around teatime. During that time ddog will be with the sitter at her house with her dogs and she gets 2 X walks on the beach for a minimum of an hour each walk. We pay £70 a week for that. If we go away abroad she has her at her house and we pay £25 per day.

Lonecatwithkitten · 10/05/2023 22:54

My dog walker fully insured, licences etc is £15 per walk for first dog and £11 per walk for additional dogs.
Pet sitter looking after 2 dogs (no walks, but one has medication) and 3 cats. £35 per night.

Lordofmyflies · 11/05/2023 20:37

Insured dog walker around here charges £12 per hour walk.
Daycare is £25 a day and overnight £30

LabradorsByTheSea · 12/05/2023 22:46

We pay 20 per dog for a 2 hour pack and training walk by a professional gundog trainer. She takes only working breeds in groups of 8 and uses her own farmland.

She is fully insured abd highly experienced. With young working dogs I wouldn’t risk an uninsured or inexperienced person.

We use boarding kennels which is 35 a night for 2 dogs.

No dog sitter. If we are out for the whole day, our cleaner comes in for half an hour and let’s them into the garden for a run.
