Arran loop carpet?

I keep reading these are not suitable for dogs, but I'm interested if anyone has it with no issues?

I have two large breed dogs and I'm struggling to see how their claws would stick in the short loops.

Cats/small dogs, I could see being an issue.

Anyone got this with no issues?

When we moved in to our current home we had a loop pile carpet in our sun room, I think the sun weakened the glue and the loop did come up in one area. We had just one 20kg dog at the time.
We have since re-carpeted with loop pile (not in the sun room) and now have two big dogs who play and get zoomies on the carpet. Over 5 years later it's still fine 😊
