Labrador has a lump

My Labrador had been known to eat some things in his time, but as far we know he hasn't eaten anything.

He has a lump sticking out of his tummy, it's oval shape, first noticed in April, just been keeping a close eye until we can get a vet appointment, it hasn't got any bigger, so that's good. He isn't in any pain, still eating, and running around.

He is 8, and we only got insurance for the first time in February!

Any ideas?

See a vet - probably a lipoma - benign fat lumps common in labs

See the vet, but I agree - classic lab benign fatty lump.

How does it feel when you loved it around? Does it feel attached to anything?
It looks like a lymphoma. My dog used to get loads of them all the time.

Oops. Not lymphoma! Doh! Lipoma. Just a benign fatty lump.

Thank you! Obviously will get him in the vets (got one in 2 weeks)

They can do an FNA ( fine needle aspirate) to take some cells off to be examined, if they are concerned.
