Dog injured his jowls!

Put my boxer dog has I bitten his jowl and caused an injury about a week ago. Because of where it is slow healing and keeps slightly bleeding when he leans on a cushion or sometimes when I wipe his mouth, it's not hot smelly or or particularly bothering the dog. It is scabbing over also still soft because it's on is Jowl.

He's vet reactive, so I'd rather avoid taking him to the vet, but if all else fails I will do and we do have the video that through the insurance, but I was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice as to how I could make this heal a little bit more quickly.

We have antibacterial powder, Sudocrem, leucelin drops, fucidic acid and saltwater. Not sure which is safest to use as He May ingest some.
I've been using saltwater so far.

I think you have to see the vet, he probably needs antibiotics.
