We are getting a new puppy soon and for the first time we have bought a Kong for the pup , none of my other dogs have had them before . So I 'm asking other Kong experts out there for their dogs favourite Kong stuffing .😋

Cubes of frozen pate (the dog ones — JR, stockbulls, Ancol all do them)
peanut butter is popular!

Just make sure you supervise them! I’ve heard a few horror stories where dogs have bitten the top of the kong off and swallowed it 🫣

Cubed frozen pate sounds good for the summer , thanks for that .

If your pup is going to be eating kibble, you can soak some of that, pack it in the kong, then freeze it. With mine, I mix in something really stinky, like sardines, as well.

If using peanut butter, get the one with nuts only in the ingredients or make sure it doesn’t contain xylitol.

I use sweet potato mashed, banana, zero fat yoghurt, blueberries, forthglade, veg - anything really. You will need to factor in calories obviously.

Peanut butter is high fat so you need to be a bit mindful. Our pup prefers a toppl as she found the kong a bit frustrating. It’s much easier to fill too but I use the same things.

I used to bung anything in really, sweet potato, kibble, yogurt, smoked salmon, cream cheese, left over chicken bits etc.

Thanks everyone I now have list everything I can use and surprisingly Cottage cheese is a good one , low in fat and high in calcium .

Grated carrot, grated liver sausage, kibble and some pumpkin puree.

Low calorie and good for tummies.

Stick a couple of sprats or a rabbits ear in the end before freezing for extra funsies

I buy the pouches for small dogs and squeeze them into the kong then freeze in summer.

DDog has however worked out that after a while, he can throw it up in the air and stuff falls out when it hits the ground🙄
