Travel sickness

We are hoping to take the pup I am fostering on holiday in a couple of weeks. The issue is she often gets travel sick. Can the vet give anything to help her with the journey? Or is there anything I can buy? I don’t want her to be miserable the whole way.

How old is she?

Cerenia is an amazing drug but needs to be prescribed from the vet.

It is expensive but often dogs only need it for a couple of trips and then dont be sick again in the car.

Loads of recommendations for human travel sickness tablets and ginger etc but cerenia just sorts out the issue quickly for most dogs.

She is 17 weeks old. Thank you for your reply. I will speak to the vet

Have you been feeding her in the car? If it's motion based sickness, this may not help, but if it's anxiety based than it might work?
