New puppy won't eat from plate

My daughter has just got a 14 week old puppy, she's feeding him raw but he will only eat from your hand and occasionally from the plate if encouraged. Is this normal?

Was he weaned on to raw? Perhaps he doesn't like it very much and just ate the other day as he was really hungry.

How long has your daughter had him?

You haven't answered whether he was weaned onto raw food or whether that's just what your DD wants him to eat?

It's pretty vital - not all dogs like a raw diet and it can take a bit of adjusting if they're used to kibble.
