Have you had a young female with mild incontinence?

Our lab bitch has been dripping wee in the evenings for the past 4 or so months. Wet patches on her bed some drops on the floor. She was spayed age 13 months (last July). She doesn't have urine infections (tested for that). Has anyone experienced similar and what were the eventual remedies?

A friend's lab has had a similar issue, and it's known as spay incontinence. It can be handled with life-long tablets, so you'd probably be best going back to you vet.

Yes - entirely solved with a single daily dose of Propalin.

Yes. At 5. Daily propalin and a change of diet (grain free - no idea why!) made it manageable until the last few months of her life at 17.

Yes,vet we used to have said it was because of damage during spaying. Offered no solution or help.Fast forward different dog, different vet, said it was hormones after spraying. Propalin all her life, sorted the problem and she lived till 17.
