Anti pull lead?

Can anyone recommend a figure of 8 style lead for my Labrador?

I’ve (unsuccessfully) tried her with a slip lead and halti face harness.

@BaconAndAvocado Thanks Bacon, just trying to make the best out of a not-so-ideal situation 😅.

@merlinpass My dog still continuing to pull like a train whilst she could hardly breathe with the slip lead strangling her!

What training have you done about walking to heel? Have you trained to heel without the lead? Does the dog know where the heel position is?

What was your exeorrience with the slip lead?

Although I'm using the harness currently, I'm still training with the slip lead. His heel work is coming on well and I can forsee a time when we will go back to the slip lead permanently.

It's just that in the current teenage phase he's unpredictable and can lunge at a passing leaf which is unpleasant for us both on the slip.

The anti-pull harness was only ever intended to be a support while he matures and his training becomes more reliable but it has been very useful.

He knows the heel position and walks well to heel off lead but there are times he needs to be on lead e.g. in traffic, town, vets.
The harness has been immensely helpful here while working on his on lead behaviour.
