Hi all, my dog is only 8 months old and have developed some pigments gradually over time on her belly. Is this normal? She was neuteured a couple of months ago, wondering if that may have caused it. Picture attached. Thank you for any advice

My old ddog had those too. Very normal. When he was wet, he looked like a dalmatian!

Perfectly normal. They're called naughty spots in our house Grin

SilverPeacock · 03/03/2023 19:51

Completely normal yes

My Mums dog has these. I call her Spotty Tum Tum.

Thanks for the advice all! I am not worried now. She is absolutely fine in herself and when i touch the area it doesn't hurt her or cause her any discomfort. There's not alot on the web about what it is except that it's a common sign of ageing. However she's still a puppy so not sure why she's getting them. 😅

Perfectly normal. Every springer spaniel I've ever known has had those.

Totally normal - referred to as “friesian bezza” in our house 🤣🤣🤣

My dog looks the same when she is upsidedown! Not a spaniel but she is black and white.

The belly spots are the best part of a dog 🥰🥰🥰
