I took my dog to the groomer last week. Her fur was fine not tangles etc. The main problem was her paws the hair on her paws were a little tangled and needed some tlc. Normally I just cut these myself but I wanted to stay taking her to the groomer.

Any way my point to the post is that the groomer has cut her coat. I did say what I wanted and that her coat was fine. I didn’t mention I didn’t wish to have this cut so completely fault. Currently her coat is sticking up in all different directions. Where is used to be very smooth. My question is will this grow back smooth? Currently my dog looks overweight too which she isn’t as she have the poofy fur all over. The groomer has also cut her feathers off from everywhere. I’m so cross at myself that I didn’t specify that I did not wish this to be touch.

sounds silly but I’m really upset that her coat is ruined forever. I do think it’s been cut with scissors not clippers.

please tell me it will grow back fine lol!

It should grow back, even if she looks a bit tatty for a while. A friend used to say about humans that the difference between a bad haircut and a good one was about a fortnight!

I really hope so. From what I’ve been reading online you should cut a cavs coat so I’m really worried it’s going to look messy forever.
