Dog walking holidays uk

I'm looking to book a weekend away somewhere in the uk for a decent dog walking holiday. We live in Cornwall and not against somewhere locally. Or wales?
Lake District looks beautiful but wonder if it's a bit far for a weekend.

Would love recommendations. We are quite fit and happy to walk miles.

A pub stop as a bonus

Came on here to say Cornwall ha ha.
I live down here too - a drive to the Lakes would ruin the weekend for me & my dog. It could be 8-10 hours each way with dog stops.
How about a stretch of SW Coast Path - Exmoor? This is on my bucket list, dog, me & tent.

I think the Lake District is too far for a weekend - it's a long drive especially if you get caught in traffic.

What about Pembrokeshire? It has a beautiful coast path, gorgeous beaches, lovely walks and is very like North Cornwall used to be in the 1980s before it got commercialised.

I've been to Porlock a few times - a great location for getting to Exmoor and the coast, feels quite different from home, lovely pubs and interesting places to visit.

Nicely distracted this morning now, thank you!

Lake District is a mad drive for a weekend from cornwall. What about Exmoor or Dartmoor?
