My 2 year old whippet is suddenly struggling to climb on the sofa/bed and climb the stairs. He is a normal energetic pup and loves to run outside but we noticed a few weeks ago that he was very tentative and slow getting up on the sofa. Then today he wanted to come upstairs but stood at the bottom whining until we encouraged him to slowly walk up.
Has anyone experienced this, he is walking normally and we have examined his legs and hips but he shows no sign of pain?
