Anal glands 🤮

We have a GWP - I took her to the vet as she has the tell tail (sorry 😂) signs of blocked anal glands. Lo and behold they were full so the vet drained them. Problem is she still smells bad. He showed me how to do it externally which I have tried a couple of times but still the smell. Question is do I take her back to the vets or will the smell go in time?

We have to wash BiteyDog after he has had them emptied otherwise he smells as it gets everywhere.

My dog had this just yesterday, and the vet wipes her with some cleansing solution after, not sure what it is. She smelt fishy last night, but was gone by lunchtime today, and that's about the usual timeframe for her.

It stinks. 🤮
Mine goes in the shower after they’ve been emptied and gets thoroughly shampooed.

Could you add some bran flakes to her food? I did that for ours and it helped. Didn't want to get into the habit of having to empty them ourselves as it may end up being a long term thing. Add some more fibre it should help.

Our DDog has a thorough wash after having hers done. It stinks!
