Is it because I've suggested a walk and it's raining?

She's a high energy breed, she needs a walk?

She just gives me the side eye when I speak to her!

Ours loves rain, wind, mud. Never happier than in soaking rain. She's built for a Scottish hillside. However she is very very fluffy so less keen on the leg and paw cleaning (so much bloody mud). We got very put out yesterday when DH sat her on her haunches so I could dunk her front legs in a bucket. There was much huffing. She's now giving us the side eye coz we haven't gone to bed yet and the hoomans are In The Way.

Even my Labradors were refuseniks yesterday, think the howling wind as well as driving rain did for them. They went to the pub instead! Had biscuits under the table and met a little terrier doing the rounds. Far more civilised.

Bet they never got a round in!

My Lab yesterday slunk along the pavements and paths, sidestepping puddles and mud.
Got to off lead fields - mad galloping, rolling in mud, surfing through ditches, leaping into the stream.
Back home, hugging my leg in an affected Heel to try and avoid the rain, sidestepping puddles….. Hmm
