Do all dogs need their fur cutting?

Hi, I'm sure this is a really silly question but can't seem to find an answer.
I have a 7 month mongral. We think she is a Jack Russel poodle cross. She is fab.
She is being brushed daily and it's very happy to go into the bath after a muddy walk. I noticed today that around her anus and paws were particularly 'furry' so gave them a little trim. It got me thinking. Does she need her fur cutting? I grew up with dogs but I don't remember them ever getting a hair cut. Is it just certain breeds or all? She doesn't have curly poodle. Any advice is much appreciated.

Not all breeds by a long shot. But a poodle cross, yes.

Other dogs mault so don't need clipping in the same way.

anything poodley will yes.

book her in for a puppy groom - it’s important that they get comfortable at groomers

and prepare for an ongoing expense. Depending how poodley she is could be needing a groom every 6 weeks for around £40…

Not all dogs do, but anything poodle-y will definitely need a trim regularly.
