Our 1 year old miniature poodle will NOT go out in the rain. He hates it, will just sit on the pavement and will not budge. He's clearly miserable in it. To help matters he also won't entertain a raincoat - either rips them off or does the same sitting down. We even tried those little bootie things; no dice.
I don't want to force him out for a walk, but it's been drizzling here for days. He's had a few ten/twenty minute runs but I can tell he's bored.
We're playing lots of tug/fetch/puzzle games but he's classically poodle in that he's really quite smart and he's picking up the games quickly. So, please may I have your most enjoyed enrichment activities and games? His favourite is a towel rolled up and tied in a loop (tight!) with treats inside.
