My dog is sad because he's just looked at all the Christmas presents and he's not found his ....( he will get one and a Christmas dinner )

That will be the Twitter feed now - if you scroll way way way back you'll find the pics of bear who was the most soulful moggy ever and the pics with accompanying "why my cat is sad" quotes were hilarious. Sadly bear died . He was an old boy .

I haven't checked the Twitter page, but last night I had TWO sad dogs.

Ddog 1, we have a rat in the garage and after a while day of trying to get rid of it (ie cleaning out the entire bloody thing), she didn't catch it. She knows she was quite useless as it ran past her 3 times. So now she's sad as a rat got the better of her.

Ddog2 came home from the vet last night as had been in all day for blood work etc. They shaved his paw where they took the bloods. He keeps giving me that paw to look at what they did to him, with the most ridiculous sad eyes.

They don't have Christmas presents either, maybe I'll cheer them both up with a bit of tinsel on their collar. 😀

So I thought I'd start why my dog is sad

My Ddog is sad because I've washed her jumper and it's on the radiator drying. She keeps going and sitting staring at it. She loves her jumper. ( She is a Staffy not a tiny dog)

My dog is sad because the neighbors have gone away for Christmas and taken their dog with them. He spent an hour yesterday sat at the gate between our gardens with his tug rope wondering why Luna wasn't coming to play.
We open the gate most days and they run between the two gardens playing as we both work from home.
My other day is sad because she spent all day trying to play tug of war with her brother who only wanted to sit mournfully by the gate awaiting his friend and ignoring her.

My dog is sad because he had to have a general anaesthetic to check for hip dislocation! Luckily it’s soft tissue damage but it’s still very painful, bless him 😢

She’s looked like this since she was a puppy (even when her tail is wagging like crazy!). I think that’s what made us find it hard to not take her home too (we originally went to pick up her sister and ended up coming home with two puppies because she looked sad).

Both of mine are sad because I took them to the DIY dog wash to clean away their sins/badger/fox/sheep/horse shit.
We are taking them to my sisters tomorrow so I thought I had better 🤣
