Flea & worm subscriptions

Hi, first time dog owner with an 11 month old small breed. Wanted to ask how much you all pay for flea & worm treatments. Our vets charge us £15 per month and this is now only for treatments every 3 months. There are some (small) discounts included on some vets bills (eg routine ops) in what we pay but it feels expensive to me?

Ours is the same price but include annual vaccinations. The vet does a quick health check with the vaccinations and you get another health check at the six month spot (nurse or vet). You get 10 or 20% pretty much everything. Plus free nail clipping and they happily throw in quick nurse appointments for free.

The other vet in town is very similar.

Are you sure that vaccinations are not included?

Not sure actually, he hasn't had any vaccinations since his ones at around 10/12 weeks. He was meant to get a heath check at 6m as well but that didn't happen.

The six month checks are for 6 months after the vaccine.
I'd phone up and ask about one, he's about due it now.

Our vets one is £16 for dogs , our dog has bravecto pills every 12 weeks and Milbemax every month for lungworm but I collect enough for 6 months at a time . You also get annual vacs , kennel cough vac and 10% off blood tests and some shop stuff . It’s very good value for us . The cat plan is about £14 and that is also good value .

I pay £11 for my year old Labrador.
