Looking for recommendations for a harness for my puppy. She's only 8 weeks old now so not going anywhere but I want to get her use to one before we go out

Perfect fit

Perfect Fit - you just replace each individual part as she grows.

Agree with pps, Perfect Fit. They’re really helpful with sizing as well if you give them a call.

Why a harness?

What sort of dog is she? For larger breed dogs, a collar is usually better. With a harness, they have their full body strength behind it (think of huskies pulling sledges), which could be a problem if they pull.

Around here, Julius are the main harnesses used.

I have been told that Julius harnesses are not good due to where they sit on the dogs shoulders. We have a poy pet one for our pug, it's a great fit for him. We have a large malamute puppy (40kg at 10 months) and he has a perfect fit harness. He is a bit of a puller so it makes it a bit tricky but we just put the lead on the front clip if he's in a pulling mood which makes it easier.

I have been told by all the trainers/walkers we know they wish that everyone used harnesses rather than collars as they are better for the dogs if they are well fitting.
