F-ing fireworks again 😡

Why, oh why, oh why ? I thought people were short of money, yet they can literally throw money up in the air.
One petrified dog, again.

My dog is fine with fireworks.

But I hate them. I hate the noise. I hate the waste of money; literally up in smoke.
I hate the environmental impact.

They sum up a world of wrong.

Some neighbours (it's always the same ones) had a garden display tonight and I thought we were being fucking BOMBED. The noise of the bangers was horrendous and absolutely not suitable for a garden in a residential estate - it was like something designed for a professional show, I've never heard anything like them before. And yes, I did think they must have cost a fortune and for what?

Anyway, my cats were terrified, I dropped the glasses I was taking out the dishwasher at the time, which shattered everywhere on the tiled kitchen floor, and no doubt the ponies in the field behind us were distressed, again, not to mention all the dogs round here.

I like organised firework displays, on fireworks night. Not scaring the life out of the neighbours a week later.

Same here, thought firework night was long over but took ddog for a walk and had to carry her home, she spent the evening shaking next to me under a blanket

Yep it's been awful here earlier tonight! I thought we were under attack. Really loud bangs! So intrusive and unnecessary. Feel sorry for pets and wildlife.

Fireworks here too. What's going on?

Same here, just now. Half a dozen, very close, and that was it. Bloody morons.

And again tonight. Sounded like a full display 😡

We had Saturday and Sunday. So pissoffing.
