Changed name but I am not a new user, I swear!
My dog had surgery a couple of weeks ago at a very well respected veterinary hospital. They have been fabulous so far.
Our regular vet had a look on Tuesday and said he had some concerns about an area that seemed a bit retracted (sorry to be vague on the details, it is a very identifiable situation) so we agreed to go back to hospital for a checkup on Wednesday.
Today I got worried that it is getting worse so I called the out of hours service and a specialist is going to look at the photos and call me back. They are in theatre at the moment so it will be a couple of hours.
In the meantime I am making myself sick with worry and I can’t even have a glass of wine to relax as we might have to drive to the hospital which is one hour away!
The dog doesn’t seem particularly unhappy but he’s one of those dogs that are happy even when super sick so it is hard to say.
I am not even sure why I am posting…just need to let it all out I suppose?
