Hi can anyone recommend some good clippers for my poodles I can use at home?

My Wahl super groom ones are conking out.

I'm not a groomer but use Wahl too. Just replaced mine with more Wahl after nine years of trimming my spaniel as the battery wouldn't hold charge. I could still use them plugged in.

@Spanielsarepainless ah yes that's what is happened to mine won't hold the charge anymore. Which new Wahl ones did you
go for?

I bought them nearly new on eBay. They are a strong red colour but I can't find the model number. They are rechargeable and work off the mains too which is brilliant. Sorry I can't be of more help.

My andis clippers are 12 years old and still good. I had Whal before which broke after a few years so upgraded and didn't regret it!
They aren't cheap though and you will need to buy the blades separately - again not cheap but well worth it!

We use the Andis 2. Been using the for about 4 years now and really rate them. We bought two blades as they get hot so you either need to swap them over or wait for them to cool.

They were expensive but we've still saved compared to going to the groomers

Thanks @Ylvamoon @Girlintheframe I will take a look at Andis. I'm not impressed with how quickly my Wahl ones have broken and I've only got two miniature poodles!!
