Trazodone

Hi all
Has anyone used Trazodone for their dog’s anxiety?
My vet is suggesting I try it with my anxious dog.
she suffers when travelling in the car, at the vets, and has separation anxiety (although this is very slowly improving)
If so, how was it?

I give my anxious collie 50mg with her breakfast. I think it is making a little difference. She now is more relaxed and sleeps during the day.

Yes, my dog takes it daily. It really helps his anxiety and colitis. If he doesn't take it, it's very noticeable. No adverse effects, even when I accidentally gave him a double dose :0. He just looked a bit stoned and had a good kip on the sofa! When I called in a panic, vets said it's a very low risk medication.
