Dog bed suggestions

Hello
My small (10kg) cross breed needs a new bed. She's inherited a very old bed from our last dog and it's time for a change. I want something luxurious, preferably washable and warm. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Bumping this up a bit.

My dogs are not into luxurious beds and prefer to sleep on the cold stone floor! weirdos - so they have Hi9 k9 beds but ones does tolerate a sheepskin rug in the winter.

I am sure others have sensible dogs who love to have soft luxurious beds and can help you

We bought one like this for our pup, although they've increased a lot in price since then, but still cheaper than some.

I like the Sleepeezee dog beds. No idea if they are classed as luxurious but my dog looked very happy and comfortable on it!

Thanks! Mine is definitely in the comfy bed camp! I'll look at the suggestions posted below and hope to find something that meets her expectations

I like Ivy & Duke. My dogs have a couple and prefer them to my bed!

Avoid Ines with little back plastic dots on the bottom as they come off all over the floor

Tuffies. The mattress is waterproof and the covers are washable and easy to take off and put on.

They also last for years.

Its a dog bed, they dont give a hoot as long as its comfy, warm and smells of dog. Those dognut type things with a blanket seem to tick all the boxes for ours. Cost very little and can go in the washing machine.

I got some fleece material and got a friend to sew it into a rectangle shape leaving one side open and put Velcro tape on that side so you've got an envelope. I bought a single washable duvet from ikea and folded it and put it into the fleece cover. It's all washable and my dog seems very happy with it

Just got one of these and, honestly, best bed ever! Excellent quality, very well stuffed, and so reasonably priced. We got this one with a sturdy cover as the dog likes to scratch beds but they do different materials. This is their ebay shop but they are also on etsy and the internet.

I used our old king size duvet. Folded and stitched edges then got fleece from a haberdashery and made a cover. He loves it, it smells of us, is warm and nice and big and squidgy

I've saved the sofa cushions from an old sofa for this purpose. I think they look better, or at least I'll never pay for the nice looking high end beds so I'm convincing myself it looks ok!

Tuffies - great quality and we bought one on the recommendation of my brother whose Goldie had hers for over ten years and still in great nick.

We used old duvets. One is a single folded up and we bought a cheap washable dog cushion cover from eBay that fits it perfectly. This goes in her dog crate. The other is a double duvet folded up and we use what used to be the cover for a toddler duvet. We were going to give the duvet away (bought when we forgot to bring our bedding when glamping so it was a spare) and figured it would make a good dog bed!

We use a plastic dog bed for ours so it can be easily cleaned. We then fill it with a memory foam waterproof mattress, blankets and vet bed to make it cosy. I like to wash the dog bedding regularly otherwise it stinks and I was struggling to get washable beds into the machine and dry them. This works for us and was inexpensive too

Another vote for Ivy & Duke. Lovely cosy material and it's held up really well with no sagging even with our dog constantly lying across the raised edges. It looks like part of the living room furniture. Really pleased with ours.

Have you looked at Tuffies? They are washable, you can get nice covers for them and although expensive they literally last forever.

Thanks everyone. More suggestions on the list. I actually like the sofa cushion idea. I did try to hack a piece out of our old memory foam mattress last year but just made a mess!
