Hello
My small (10kg) cross breed needs a new bed. She's inherited a very old bed from our last dog and it's time for a change. I want something luxurious, preferably washable and warm. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Poco dog bed. you pick the model and the fabrics to match your sofa. Their mattresses are SO comfy and long lasting and my dog loves hers! I got the one with the little walls to keep the draughts out! Keeps her hair off my sofa too!!

P&L (Pets & Leisure) without question. One of the last UK dog bed manufacturers and wow are they good. Sturdy and functional and lovely high sides which most dogs love (makes them feel secure) and they are cosy too.

P&L are probably best known for their waterproof dog beds but their sherpa fleecy ones are really great too. I read your post and thought of this one for your dog www.dfordog.co.uk/sherpa-fleece-dog-beds.html

For a small dog like yours, there are several luxurious and washable dog beds on the market that could be a good fit. Here are some options to consider:

  1. Orthopedic Dog Bed: An orthopedic dog bed made of memory foam or another supportive material can provide extra comfort and support for your dog's joints. Many of these beds have removable, machine-washable covers.
  2. Donut Dog Bed: A donut-shaped dog bed with a raised edge can provide a cozy spot for your dog to curl up and feel secure. Look for a bed made of soft, washable materials like fleece or faux fur.
  3. Heated Dog Bed: A heated dog bed can be a great option for keeping your dog warm and cozy during colder months. Look for a bed with a removable, washable cover and a temperature control feature.
  4. Pet Sofa: If you're looking for a luxurious option, a pet sofa could be a great choice. These beds often have plush cushions and elevated sides for a cozy feel. Look for a sofa with removable, washable covers.
  5. Cuddle Dog Bed: A cuddle dog bed is similar to a donut bed, but with a higher, more structured edge. This type of bed can provide your dog with a cozy spot to snuggle up and feel safe. Look for a bed with a removable, washable cover made of soft materials like faux fur or sherpa.
When choosing a dog bed, it's important to consider your dog's sleeping habits and preferences. Some dogs like to curl up in a cozy nest, while others prefer to stretch out on a flat surface. Make sure you choose a bed that your dog will feel comfortable in and that is easy to clean and maintain.
