Suggest footwear present for doggy daycare worker

Student DD does shifts in a day care. Anyone recommend footwear for the wet winter. Sometimes she will have to stuff the footwear (39) in her bag when she goes to uni so it can't be too bulky. It's her birthday this month so am happy to get something built to last. Considering a short muck boot with lining. Suggestions gratefully received.

I've got a pair of ankle muck boots called Liberty. They look like normal boots but can be rinsed under the hosepipe. They're great for wearing to work with jeans and then being able to walk the dogs without changing footwear. The soles are really thick so you can walk miles in comfort!

@Badger1970 thank you, that's what I was hoping for but I suspect she will be put off by the price and say she needs something cheaper.
I think DD imagines @Whatacarryonthisis suggestion of the short boot. Truly awful name but these would get the job done definitely. Thank you both.

Ooh @WeAreLateAgain That's probably what we'll do and then if she stays there for a bit longer I can offer to buy her better muck boots. Thank you
