Lump on dogs paw

Just wondering if anyone has ever had this with their dog? She’s 2, black lab. Yelped yesterday when I dried her paw but has been fine today. No limping or over licking the paw. But today I noticed a little lump- I’m guessing maybe something got in there like a grass seed or something. Will it come out by itself? Just swapped pet insurance providers and they don’t cover things for the first 14 days. Thank you

I drew a grass seed out overnight from my spaniel with Sudocrem and a bandage (so they can't lick it), but still saw the vet for antibiotics.

They can travel, and cause lots of problems if it is a seed so I think you might have to bite the bullet on this one, sorry.

Dog has been seen by the vet and has a weeks course of antibiotics so thank you for your reply, appreciate it. Fingers crossed the medicine works!

Mine was better in about 3 days once the tablets got into his system. They soon mend.

Bloody grass seeds, roll on winter we usually get them in the ears, this year was the first year we had one in a paw but it looked really nasty very quickly.
