I should say, if i was still working at the office I would probably not be worrying about this. But being at home for the last two years i have become obsessed with my dogs routines and if i do enough to give them a happy life. Still not lucky enough to have a biological child, so i do realise they are disproportionately important to me vs what others may think!
I have chihuahuas, so the advice is that they need 30 mins walking a day. They get this, plus a couple of hours of play/interaction each day. But then they just tend to sleep!
How much interaction do you have with your dogs? What does their day look like?

morning walk about 45mins
home for breakfast
sleeps apart from to have a few pee breaks, we might play with a toy or hide some treats to find depending how the day goes
45min walk in the evening
dinner
More sleep
then final toilet break then bed

a contented dog is one that sleeps a lot so I’ve heard 😁 I have a working breed so needs a bit more exercise than yours but other than that hes mostly asleeep

I have two working gundogs, but their non-working routine is a long walk an hour or so after their breakfast. Young one gets half an hour training before lunch, older one gets a stroll for the same length of time. Usually I take younger one for a short stroll just before it gets dark, but he had an extra training session today. They are both flaked out.

45min walk in the morning then snoozes or entertains himself till lunch, bit of a play in the garden, snooze till afternoon run on the fields, snooze till tea....then train or play on off until 8pm when its snooze time!.
10pm final pee and bed.

18 month old dog, she gets a good one hour+ walk in the morning, faffs around until late morning then sleeps until about 4pm. I take her for a 20 - 45 minute walk about 5 then she either sleeps or plays until the evening.
She’ll easily sleep from 8.30pm to 7am.
She’s very easy to please 😊

My beagle is four.

Wake up around 6am, toilet and breakfast then back to bed.
Out for a walk around 8-9am for an hour, sometimes two depending on my schedule.
Then he goes to my in-laws while DH and I work - he has some enrichment games, follows FIL around while he does housework or sleeps 🤣
Lunch around 1pm-ish.
Home around 2pm when I collect him, and and he sleeps all afternoon until DH gets home around 5pm.
Then he has an hour or two of fuss, some snacks off the table and play, maybe another walk some nights.
Then settles back to sleep around 6pm.
Late night snack and wee break around 11pm and then bed.

Weekends he'll stay up longer and wake up later, and sometimes joins DH on long trips out fishing for 4-5 hours too.
