I've heard good things about Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy but is it suitable for a dog that's a bit older? I'm getting a rescue soon (as soon as she's fit and well). She's about 15 months old and the shelter have said she hasn't had any training. TIA.

Pippa Mathison Total Recall was one I used for puppies and an older rescue and I'm sure she has other books too. I still use some of the tips/ games now to keep them interested in good recall

Just read it and I think a lot of the advice would be suitable.

There is an easy peasy doggy squeasy by Steve Mann for older dogs

OK thanks, that's useful.

The Easy Peasy Doggy Squeezy seems to be a collection of 'problem' letters from owners and their solutions rather than starting from scratch with an older dog, if that's the book you mean.

Ah, that's the one you said Grin. Sorry.

A book using clicker training perhaps? Thinking Clicker Training for Dogs by Karen Pryor.
