Advocate Flea Treatment - dog is forlorn

Anyone else’s dog get like this? He’s been feeling sorry for himself all day. Not eaten his food, doesn’t want to go for a walk, just keeps lying down looking sad.

He’s had it before (not every month admittedly) and he’s always the same.

Any suggestions?

We stopped using advocate spot on as my dog wouldn't sleep or settle for a few days afterwards. I think it was the smell.
We now use nexgard spectra and he is completely fine with the tablet.

No never had any effect on mine.
