fleas on a puppy

We’ve had our puppy for two weeks and noticed she was a bit scratchy. I’ve just spotted a flea. She could well have picked it up from our garden as we have plenty of wildlife.

I’ve given her a bath in warm water with a flea repellent shampoo and was last treated with Frontline Plus 3.5 weeks ago. She is due another pipette of this on Thursday.

Should I treat earlier? Is Frontline Plus a good product? We used to use a tablet with our late adult dog which was amazing, but not sure a puppy should have that. We are at the vets on Thursday, but would rather do something today if needed. Thanks for any advice.

You are better off getting something from the vet and if you have seen a flea then there are likely more so I would also start treating the house .
