Anyone use a mobile vet?

One has just started up in our area and DDog is absolutely terrified of going to to vets.

Just wondered if anyone has any experience that they'd like to share?

We use one for the cats but not the dog. They are ok for routine stuff but if the pet is very ill they need all the equipment from The Practice

Thanks for that @Hoppinggreen Wink

We use one for minor things and vaccinations but for anything bigger needing blood tests / X-rays etc then we go to the normal vets. Mine hates the vets so we try to use the mobile one as much as possible and he’s very good at telling us when he can’t help and we need to go to the normal one.

Thanks too @Pinkandpurplehairedlady.

I hadn't thought f using both.

Thinking about it I might do similar and use the mobile for things like vaccinations and another vet if we have a problem.

I'll make sure that they give me the names of the vaccines that they use though as I know it can differ.

We do use a mobile vaccination vet, but that’s literally all he does. You can potentially call out any vet, but you’ll have to pay a large call out fee.

Ihatethenewlook · 21/08/2022 13:34

I’ve just had a look online out of interest and call out fees seem to be between 2-3 hundred pounds

PritiPatelsMaker · 21/08/2022 13:37

I think that might be different @Ihatethenewlook. This one doesn't have a practice, they are entirely mobile and competitively priced.

I've had another look and I think that I'm going to speak to the with a view to signing up for their monthly plan.

I was so, so disappointed with our vets when DDog was I'll recently.
